Sciatica


Sciatica refers to pain that radiates along the path of the sciatic nerve from your back down your buttock and leg. Sciatica is a set of symptoms that signals another problem involving the nerve, such as a herniated disc.

Symptoms:

  • Pain that radiates from your lower back to your buttock or down your leg.
  • Burning or tingling down the leg.
  • Weakness, numbness or difficulty moving the leg or foot.
  • Tingling or a pins-and-needles feeling in your toes or part of your foot.
